Spring Break 2007 found us in Wellington, New Zealand. Rachel and I took 10 students and interns for a week to visit this beautiful country. In the fall, we sent our first short-term team to Wellington to open up ministries on the campuses there. It was perfect timing, as our Spring Break falls right during the first couple weeks of school in the Southern Hemisphere, so we were able to give the STINT team a boost to their manpower.

Most of our week was taken up by meeting with students to share with them what Student Life (CCC in New Zealand) was about, and to share the Gospel with them. Many of these students were from places in the world where Americans can’t go or it is illegal to be a Christian or share the Gospel with others.

New Zealand was incredible…from a personal and spiritual standpoint. We had a wonderful time together and seeing what God is doing in the land of the kiwi. We worked with the STINT team in Wellington, NZ. There are two campuses in Wellington. Victoria University and Massey University. We spent most of our time at Vic following up contacts from the Tune In campaign.

It was great to help support the STINT team and see the ministry at Vic take off as the team began to form LTG (life transformation groups) for the school year. Our group of students were in Wellington for 10 days and on campus for 5 days. During those five days we had 105 spiritual conversations (including conversations with students from 13 different countries), 53 gospel presentations and saw 4 students trust Christ.

We are so thrilled to have been able to go on this trip and know it will be one of many that we will have the opportunity to be a part of in the future. We look forward to the opportunity to go back to NZ in the future.
