Pornography is an addictive drug that is destroying our society. Recently, our team brought an interactive presentation called Porn Nation to a few of the campuses we will be working with.
During college, many students experience freedom for the first time. They are away from their parents, free from their prior lives, and former authority figures. They have the opportunity to choose who they want to be, what friends they want to make, and the lifestyle they wish to pursue.
Unfortunately, freedom often leads to disaster, especially in the area of sexuality, as students pursue sexual freedom. This quest for freedom leads many to Internet pornography, cybersex, strip clubs, one-night stands, experimenting with homosexuality, and the list goes on. Our culture deems this “normal”, and the hidden dangers and long-term effects are not discussed.
“Porn Nation” and “Pure Freedom” are multimedia-based, live speaker presentations developed by BraveHearts, with today’s college student in mind. Students are exposed to God’s truth about love, sex, relationships, and for many this is for the first time. They will also hear about how living in an increasingly sexual culture can and will affect relationships, careers, marriages, and families. In the end, even shattered dreams and lives can give way to a new hope for a new kind of freedom found in Jesus Christ.

As Rachel and I continue journeying toward our goal, we are so grateful for your prayers and financial support. At times, we have felt as though we have been wandering through the wilderness. We know that we are never alone and God has proven His presence many times. We remain convinced that this is where God has called us and that He will provide the financial support we need.
He has blessed us tremendously with new people to share our ministry with and the potential to complete our support has never been this great. We were encouraged and motivated by Christmas Conference, and with only 15 weeks left until our deadline to complete our support, we are charging ahead, determined to finish well. We have been seeking the Lord’s guidance for our next steps and praying that He will work in continuing to provide for us as He already has through many of you.
