Well, it is June 12th and many of you are wondering what happened to us. Our original deadline to have our support complete was today June 12th. We are not quite done but, the Lord still has called us to this ministry. June 12th just was not the day.
We talked with our support coach about where we are at with our support. We currently have 81% of our monthly support accounted for and coming in from faithful supporters – Thank you! With our outstanding gifts, this number is closer to 90% (if you have not sent in your first gift yet – please do so or if you have questions, don’t hesitate to give us a call). We still have about $900 left to raise.
Since we are much closer than we were back in January (at 50%), our support coach was comfortable with us finishing our support over the summer. Our new date is around the first week in August. This is about the time that we need to report to our teams along with the rest of staff from the summer. We look forward to seeing the Lord work and complete our support in the next few weeks and move down to Indiana this summer.
