At one of the schools I’ve been working at, Ivy Tech Community College, we have been training the students on how to share their faith. Every week before our Bible study, the students go out sharing on campus. In mid-October, I took Porcia, a freshman, along with me, to start spiritual conversations with students in the cafeteria.
We started talking to two students, Ebony and Janice, while they were eating lunch. They are both nursing students and good friends. As we talked about how God loves them and sent His Son to pay their sin penalty, they were enthralled.
After reading through the Four Spiritual Laws, they both expressed their desire to receive Christ. The end of the booklet explains what happens when we receive Christ and the blessings that God gives us. When we finished reading the booklet, one of the girls said, “I am definitely going to pray this prayer.” The other student quickly agreed.
I told them that we could pray right there if they wanted. So, the girls bowed their heads and prayed with Porcia and me to receive Christ right there in the cafeteria. Currently, the students at Ivy Tech have been meeting with them every week, doing follow-up. Praise the Lord for these two new believers and please pray for their spiritual growth.

Maximizing Ministry
This is a phrase we use often on the regional team to explain what we do. In a very similar way, you as our ministry partners are involved in this process through your partnership with us. In a sense, you are part of the ministry of every one of our staff throughout the region.
Several of the projects I have been working on this semester are being used to “maximize ministry.” I completed a website that we are using to help recruit students and alumni who have operational skills. We are asking these individuals to consider “Redefining” their view of missions and see how they could use their gifts and talents in ministry.
I also completed the Indy Christmas Conference web site. This is a place where students and staff go to get information about and register for the conference. Not only is this a vital website that gives shape to this conference at the end of the year, but also for the first time, our region has not had to hire an outside design firm to create it for us.
My role at Christmas Conference this year is Video Director. This role involves capturing and creating videos that tie into the conference theme and give students a picture of what CCC is doing globally to help fulfill the Great Commission.
We are so thankful this holiday season as we realize how much you are helping us accomplish for the Lord and the opportunity I have, through you, to maximize the ministry of CCC.

Please Pray
> For Ebony’s and Janice’s spiritual growth.
> Praise for over 60 new believers from schools from our ministry.
> For Christmas Conference, that students would live transformed lives – answering the question “Is It Worth It?”
