Braden with Mom and Dad

Ryan | 4.1.08

the family at the hospital

It is a little weird being parents for the first time. I think we are getting the hang of it but, we joke that the Lord must think that we can not handle much. Braden is a great baby and we look forward to sharing his life with many of you. Thanks for your prayers.

We’re Fisherific

Ryan | 7.18.06

Rachel by our SOLD signWe just bought our first home. We are excited to call ourselves Fisherific. Our new home is in Fishers, IN, just NE of Indianapolis. We are so excited and even though we have not closed, we know that the Lord has blessed us with a great home in a great location. Ryan is just 5 minutes from the office and Rachel is centrally located. Continue to pray for us as we finish the last bit our our support and work through the final details of our first home.

We have taken several pictures if you would like to look at our new home.

Christmas 2005

Ryan | 12.15.05

We hope that you will have the opportunity to relax during the holiday season and take just a few minutes to reflect on the gift we have all been given, in Jesus Christ. Spend some time thanking the Lord for his gift during Christmas.

This is our third Christmas being married, and it seems the season gets busier each year. Not only do we have the standard holiday stuff, but also, Ryan had the opportunity to be a jester at the Madrigal Dinner at Western Springs Baptist Church. We will be traveling to Wisconsin next to visit family we haven?Äôt seen since our wedding and We have another Christmas Conference right around the corner.

You can read more from out letter this month here. If you would like to read more from the Relevant Report check out the archives.

Our Car

Ryan | 6.20.05

Not that it is a big deal…Just a news and prayer item I thought that I would share. Recently, Rachel and I have had to put some more money into auto repairs. This is not un-normal because we have an old car. We are thankful that God has provided the money for us to be able to take care of the car that we own. We would ask you to pray for us to have wisdom lead by the Holy Spirit in getting another vehical and when. We are hoping to be able to report to our assignment this fall (in God’s timing). When we get to Indianapolis we will probably need another car again. For right now our good old ford is getting us where we need to go. Thanks for praying for us.

Health Problems…

Ryan | 4.28.05

Recently, Rachel has been having problems with her eye. She has had irritation and excessive watering in her right eye. We recently took her to the doctor and he said that it looked like Rachels right tear duct was blocked but, he did not know for sure. He referred us to another doctor who specializes in this type of problem. We are setting up an appointment to see him and possibly get Rachel’s eye duct probed. Hopefully all will go well and Rachel’s tear duct will be flushed or the problem with relieve itself. If the duct can not be flushed Rachel will have to have surgury to create a new tear duct in her eye.

Please pray that God would have his hand on Rachel and that whatever prolems arise would be resolved and Rachel will not need surgery.
