Our Needs
What we need is the consistent financial support of people just like you to carry on our ministry because Campus Crusade does not have central funds to help us financially.
This financial support provides not only for our salary, but for many more expenses. As donations are made to our account, administrative costs and benefits are taken out first. Whatever is left over is what is available for our expenses and salary. If there isn’t enough in our account to cover the full 100% of our monthly salary then our salary is reduced for that month.
In other words, we receive short paychecks until our current support level gets to 100% or until we receive significant special gifts to make it through the month.
For our most current needs, please see the most recent post on the topic of financial needs.
Would you prayerfully consider making a donation right now?
*** Some notes
- Our salary (60% of our total) is based on several factors such as marital status, number of children, tenure with Campus Crusade for Christ, and geographic area.
- Our ministry expenses (8% of our total) include expenses such as medical expenses not covered by insurance, supplies, automobile expenses, conferences, and communication costs with ministry partners.
- Our benefits (15% of our total) includes expenses such as group medical and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, worker’s compensation, and pension.
- Our administrative costs (7%) include check processing, overhead, and other typical headquarters expenses, plus an amount for ministry expansion for staff overseas (5%) that are not able to raise financial support.
- We try to have a buffer (5%) in our account to help us when regular support is lacking.
- Our current support level is based on the amount of financial support we know we can rely on, not reflecting special gifts.
