Our Ministry

Our ministry is based in Indianapolis, IN. where the great lakes regional office for the campus ministry is located. If you are wondering what states are in the great lakes region, they are Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

Ryan :: Relevant Media

computer generation

Emerging generations see little, if any, value to the church. We are also becoming a more visual / sensory society. Students learn, socialize and entertain themselves using technology. With the amalgamation of different forms of media on the internet, we have the perfect opportunity to reach students with the message of Jesus Christ in a relevant way.

Ryan’s vision

is to develop professional communications that reach beyond the scope of students daily lives, striving to contexualize the message of the Gospel in a language students understand.

A large part of my role is creating media to promote the conferences we having during the year. Many of the students who are involved in our ministries come to conferences like Christmas Conference to develop their walks with the Lord, learn about ministry opportunities around the world and take steps to share their faith.

When I am not working on conferences, I am working on tools to help our staff reach more students on campus and do it effectively.

Rachel :: Campus Ministry

Rachel with Matt and Kelly

The Campus Ministry of Campus Crusade focuses on building into students lives through Multiple Movements of students who have the goal of growing in their walk with the Lord and sharing the faith with their peers on campus.

Rachel’s vision

echoes that of Campus Crusade, “turning lost students into Christ-centered laborers”. Becoming a Christian her freshman year at Northern Illinois University, she met with a small group of older students that taught her what it meant to truly walk with God. By the end of her time at NIU, she was leading Bible studies and meeting with younger students, watching them grow in maturity and in faith.

This year, at the Christmas Conference Day of Outreach, Rachel and two students shared the Gospel, in the form of a Four Spiritual Laws Booklet, with a young father living in Indianapolis. He expressed interest in receiving Christ and prayed with them in his home. These students, in leading this man to Christ, experienced something many adults never do. As a result, they can take what they have learned, along with Spirit-filled motivation and reach their campus.
